I am Md Wahid, father of Zara from Lucknow. Unfortunately, my daughter is suffering from Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) - Hole in the heart. We have been through a challenging journey in her treatment. We exhausted all our resources, having spent 2 lakh rupees, and were left with nothing monetarily. There were days in Delhi when we had to survive without meals. Only I know the struggle of arranging two meals a day for my little angel Zara. Despite all efforts, as a father, I felt helpless watching my daughter suffer daily, inching closer to death.

In our darkest moments, a ray of hope emerged when we were introduced to Umeed Ka Naya Sawera. They have been nothing short of angels, providing not only medical assistance but also daily essentials for our survival in Delhi. We are entirely dependent on this NGO for our sustenance.
